What are Challenges?

Challenges are short, engaging activities that help you build healthy habits and reach your wellness goals. They are designed to be simple, motivational, and actionable—encouraging small changes that can add up to big results over time.

How Challenges Work

Each Challenge is made up of phases—these are segments that guide you through different parts of the Challenge experience. Phases help keep you focused and introduce content gradually.

  • Themes: Challenges focus on topics like stress reduction, movement, mindfulness, nutrition, and more.

  • Progress Tracking: You can track your completion of each day’s task and monitor your progress through the platform.

  • Community: In some cases, challenges may be shared with others in your group or organization for added encouragement and accountability.


Two Types of Challenges

There are two ways you might experience Challenges in the Engagement Rx platform:


1. On-Demand Challenges

These are self-guided Challenges that you can start at any time.

  • Choose What Interests You: Pick from a variety of topics like movement, mindfulness, hydration, and more.

  • Go at Your Own Pace: Start when you're ready and complete daily activities on your schedule.

  • Individual Experience: These are designed for personal use and aren't tied to a group or schedule.

2. Scheduled Challenges (Autopilot Challenges)

These Challenges are part of a preset schedule and often included in coaching or organizational programs.

  • Set Start and End Dates: These Challenges begin and end on specific dates set by your organization or coach.

  • Group Participation: You may go through the Challenge at the same time as others, creating a shared experience.

  • Automated Delivery: You'll receive daily content automatically, sometimes via email or in-app notifications.

  • Build consistency in your wellness routine.

  • Discover new tips and strategies for staying healthy.

  • Stay motivated with bite-sized goals and achievements.

  • Learn more about what works for you in a fun, interactive way.

Getting Started

To join a challenge:

  1. Log into your account.

  2. Navigate to the Challenges section.

  3. Browse the list of available challenges and select one that fits your goals.

  4. Click Join to begin.

Once you join, check in every day! For some Challenges, you'll get reminders when new phases. Challenges are optional but are a great way to stay motivated and have fun while working toward your wellness goals.
