How do I complete a Challenge?

Modified on Thu, May 22 at 2:03 PM

Challenges in Avidon are designed to guide you through small, meaningful actions that support your health and wellbeing. Each Challenge is broken into phases (although some may only be 1 phase), and completing the Challenge as a whole means working through these phases by finishing specific activities.

Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Earn Tokens by Completing Activities

Each phase contains a mix of required and optional activities. As you complete activities, you’ll earn tokens (these are just progress markers—not real currency).

  • Required activities give you the tokens needed to move to the next phase.
  • Optional activities are extra credit—they help build stronger habits but aren’t needed to progress.

You can complete activities in any order and on either mobile or desktop—whatever is easiest for you.

Step 2: Progress Through Phases

Once you’ve completed all required activities in a phase, you’ll unlock the next one. Some Challenges are designed to move at your pace (on-demand), while others follow a scheduled calendar. In scheduled Challenges:

  • Each phase may only become available on certain days (e.g., Phase 2 opens three days after Phase 1).
  • You may need to wait for the next phase, even if you’ve finished all the required activities in your current one early. Often, you will be able to gather more tokens by completing optional activities.

How to Know You’re Ready to Move On

Look for a “Next Phase” button or notification once your required tokens are collected.

A progress bar or checkmarks will show what you’ve finished and what’s left.

If you don’t see the next phase right away, it might be because:

You're in a scheduled Challenge and the next phase hasn’t opened yet

Not all required activities are completed (double-check!)
