Why am I getting reminder emails or texts?

Modified on Thu, May 29 at 2:53 PM

Avidon helps keep you on track with friendly reminders—potentially sent by either email or text message—to encourage your progress and participation. These notifications are meant to support you, but you’re always in control of what you receive.

What Triggers a Reminder?

You might get a notification when:

  • A new activity or phase in a Challenge becomes available

  • A Course module is ready for you to complete

  • A scheduled coaching session or event is coming up

  • You haven’t logged in or completed a goal in a while

  • A Tracker entry is due (e.g., daily mood or nutrition check-in)

  • You receive a message from a coach (Enterprise only)

Note: Not all reminders apply to every user. Some are only available if your program includes specific tools or coaching services.

How to Manage Your Notifications

You can choose how you’d like to be reminded or turn certain notifications off completely.

On the Web platform:

  1. Log in at [your Avidon portal].

  2. Click your Profile icon (in the top-right corner).

You're now on the profile settings page where you can scroll down to find the reminder manager...

  1. Select Notification Settings or Preferences.
  2. Toggle on/off:
  • Session reminders
  • Session completion
  • Coach communications
  • LivingFit Daily Walking Reminders
  • LivingWell Daily "D"
  • LivingWellRested Daily "Z"
