What are Trackers?

Modified on Tue, May 27 at 4:10 PM

Trackers in Avidon are simple tools that help you build awareness of your habits and monitor your progress toward wellness goals. Whether you’re trying to drink more water, get more sleep, reduce stress, or increase movement, Trackers make it easy to stay accountable.

Note: You can access trackers on your own by navigating to the tracker section on both the web platform and the mobile app. There are some trackers that are used in Challenges and there are some trackers that were built specifically for Challenges and used exclusively in them.

How Trackers Work

  • Daily Check-Ins: Trackers prompt you to log specific activities each day—such as how many glasses of water you drank or whether you took a walk. Some trackers, like the A1c tracker, are not meant to be used every day. With any tracker, it's up to you how often you track.

  • Visual Progress: You’ll see your entries add up over time, which can help motivate you and reveal useful patterns.

  • Custom Tracking: Depending on your program, you may see different Trackers based on your personal goals or what your coach or organization recommends.

Here's an example of an activity tracker, set to show the most recent 30 days, where the user can see that they've gradually increased their activity:

Why Use Trackers?

  • Stay Accountable: Trackers help reinforce routines and commitments.
  • Spot Trends: Visual summaries can highlight changes or consistency in behavior.
  • Reflect: Entries often include space for notes or feelings, encouraging mindfulness.
  • Customize Your Journey: Choose which trackers are most meaningful to your personal goals.

Here’s a list of trackers currently available in the Avidon platform, along with a brief description of what each is for:
