What is the Health Age Predictor?

Modified on Thu, May 8 at 10:05 AM

The Health Age Predictor (HAP) is a feature within the Avidon platform designed to give you a quick snapshot of your overall wellbeing. By analyzing your responses to 14 lifestyle questions, the HAP estimates a health age, which is a reflection of your biological health rather than your actual, calendar age.

What is the Health Age?

The health age number you receive is based on science—we use evidence-backed research to estimate how your lifestyle choices impact long-term health and longevity. If your health age is younger than your actual age, it means your habits are supporting long-term wellbeing. If it’s older, it may be a sign that small changes could help you feel better and stay healthier over time. Note that the health age is not a medical diagnosis, it is just a potential indication of where you’re currently at with your health and lifestyle habits.

How the Health Age Predictor Works

Any time after initially completing the Health Age Predictor flow, you can update your responses to any individual question which will potentially generate a new score. Here are more details about how the HAP works:

  • Data Collection: The Predictor may gather information from various sources throughout the Avidon experience, including your responses in onboarding, daily or weekly flows, trackers (like sleep, activity, or mood), and other assessments.
  • Algorithmic Estimation: It uses this data to estimate a health age score using evidence-based models.
  • Feedback Display: You'll see your health age displayed prominently in your dashboard, along with contextual messaging — such as how your age compares to averages, and what behaviors are positively or negatively affecting it.

Tips for Improving Your Health Age

  • Engage with content regularly—complete flows, courses, and coaching recommendations.
  • Track your habits—use Avidon’s built-in tools to log sleep, exercise, mood, nutrition, and more.
  • Set goals—behavior change begins with intention and awareness; Avidon’s goal-setting tools can help you stay focused, improve your lifestyle, and lower your health age.
  • Stay consistent—improvements to your health age build over time with steady, healthy habits.
